The United States is Not Gearing Up for War With Iran
The anti-US propaganda mass world media machine is completely out of control and actually inciting a future war between the United States and Iran. One headline read that the US was gearing up for a war with Iran - that is crazy indeed. Just the insinuation that the United States might not be fully prepared for such an unfortunate potential eventuality is silly indeed. Why would the US need to gear up for a military conflict with Iran?

Some Realities of War
The reality is that the defending rogue nation-state does not have a chance against a couple of aircraft carriers and a fully-integrated net-centric battlespace using all the modern day technology. It is not a fair fight. Of course war is not really fair anyway.

Defending a Nation-State against the US Strike- Not Advisable
Have you ever seen the signs on the freeway which worn you that a certain type of vehicles is not advised for the road ahead? Well, I pay special attention to such road maps and signage, as I drive a large Motor Home with a very long wheel base.

To Young To Serve
A young 16-year old joined the army during WWI. He was assigned to a gun crew in France. He tells of the smells, mud and challenge of a young man in war.

The Use of Human Shields in Warfare
One more recent tactic being implemented by some rogue combatants and rogue nation-states is to use human shields, knowing the striking force will have to deal with the media backlash in the event they attempt to hit the target anyway. Luckily with very accurate smart munitions, this will not always work, but sometimes the tactic does work, for instance an enemy command and control which is located in the basement underneath a civilian school, hospital, religious location or apartment complex.

Geneva Convention and Robotic Warfare?
In the future robotic warfare may require a human in the loop as a decision maker before lethal force is used. Some how we are to value human decision making over that of a robot? This means that a human would make the final decision to kill.

High Tech Warfare - This Is Not Your Fathers Military
The philosophy and basic strategies are still the same but the days of Sun Tzu and Carl von Clausewitz are out the window as the modern battlespace takes shape. Sure there are still tactics such as use of decoys, deception and the element of surprise, but today the SAM sites, mobile missile launchers and anti-aircraft systems are some of the most sophisticated technologies on the planet. But then again so are our stealth fighters.

The Spartans & King Leonidas
The Spartans fighting specialty was as a single impenetrable unit, forward thrusting, one way & notably elite assault unit. They were documented as a fearsome & formidable army, made stronger by their laws for which forbids them to neither retreat nor surrender. Suicidal tendency is prevalent within such a school of thought.

German Memory - Dresden Bombing & the World's Reaction
Overall, Anglo-American bombing of German cities claimed between 305,000 and 600,000 civilian lives. But the devastation in Dresden made a great impact on neutral countries at that time. Howard Cowan, an Associated Press war correspondent, subsequently filed a story saying that the Allies had resorted to terror bombing.
Before the bombing, Dresden was regarded as a beautiful city and a cultural center, and was sometimes known as Elbflorenz, or Florence on the Elbe. Its notable architecture included the Zwinger Palace, the Dresden State Opera House, and the Dresden Frauenkirche, its historic cathedral.

German Memories in Asia - German Colonies in Asia and the Pacific
The European colonial era Jaffna reminded one of how the European powers established their colonial empires in Asia, Africa and Americas with a long and hazardous past.
Germany also colonised many of the Asian and African countries with other Europian nations after the development of imperialism and the awareness of having colonies around the world.
The colonialist thinking was that colonies were ideal to support the economy in the motherland. So, densely populated China came into view as a potential market. Thinkers like Max Weber demanded an active colonial policy from the German government. In particular the opening of China was made a question of life or death, because it was thought to be the most important non-European market in the world.
