Hurricane Chris Has Potential
Hurricane Chris is hanging out and slowing down and that is not necessarily good news say meteorologists. Good for now because it means more time to prepare and protect human life, but a slow forward speed can cause issues with tightening and strengthening, as Chris zig-zags in the Atlantic Ocean along side the Caribbean.

No Leather or Silk for the Hard Core Vegetarian
Leather is a byproduct of animals that have been killed for the meat. Their are many vegetarians that do have an ethical dilemma with meat, but no problem what so ever in wearing the leather. Vegans say, wearing the leather indirectly causes the undue suffering of animals.

Nearly a Week of 112-115 Degree Heat Hampers California
California saw its worst heat wave in 10-years killing some 126-130 people. The heat wave produced record temperatures of 112-115 degrees for nearly a week straight. Most of the deaths occurred with elderly folks and some are wondering if there may have been a way to save more of these people in the next heat wave? Is a new policy needed for heat waves to protect people and elderly?

Two UN Staff Killed in Lebanon [by whom?]
More life is taken in the battle, there is not much more to say, I mean, the UN dead are no different to me than a Jew's death or a Lebanese death. Where your in a war zone, people die, like in Vietnam, what did they expect, a picnic. Don't shoot here, don't shoot there concept when out with Vietnam.

A Tuberculosis out break has happened on the USS Ronald Reagan Aircraft Carrier, but this should not surprise anyone because a small floating city of 4000 people is isolated from the rest of the world and this can easily happen. West Coast Weather Ten Times Better than East Coast Humidity
Here on the west coast of the United States the weather is so much better than on the East Coast and much of this is due to the high humidity on the East Coast in the summertime. Many people on the east coast are quite arrogant about where they live and yet when they travel to the west coast for the first time they are quite humbled by the credibly great weather compared to where they live.

The United States of America Is Involved in the Most Number of Wars?
It is truly amazing that people slander the United States of America and tell us that the United States is involved in the most number of wars. Then the next week when a war breaks out in the Middle East between Hezbollah and Israel the same people demand that the United States of America intervene with military force to protect the innocent life.
