Volcanoes in the Philippines
The Philippine Islands host over 22 active volcanoes and many people do not realize this. It should not surprise anyone that each year the Philippines have at least a couple of eruptions; some are large but most are small. Currently the Mayon Volcano looks as if it is going to blow and at the last corruption was in 2001.

Tropical Storm Chris Preparing to Pummel Puerto Rico
Tropical Storm Chris is whipping up after forming in less than 24-hours and going from a Tropical Depression to a Tropical Storm with 50 mph sustained winds and growing. In its path lie Puerto Rico, which is preparing for a pummeling. This is the Third named Storm of the 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season.

Two UN Staff Killed in Lebanon [by whom?]
More life is taken in the battle, there is not much more to say, I mean, the UN dead are no different to me than a Jew's death or a Lebanese death.
