Produce Packaging Crisis
It's sad to say but it takes an event like the ecoli outbreak resulting from tainted spinach for the media to take notice of the role packaging has to play in our society. Now it’s coming under some serious scrutiny. I was surprised to hear network TV mention the packaging and food security this week and tie it to the threat of bio-terrorism. Are they finally waking up to the role packaging has to play in modern society?

Car donations help many helpless people get the basic amenities such as food, clothing and shelter. It helps by providing assistance and relief. Canadian Immigration Statistics
In the same way that other countries keep track of immigration to their countries, Canada also keeps track of the status of immigrants inside the country. In Canada, the agency responsible for doing so is the Canadian Immigration and Citizenship or the CIC. For their part, the CIC diligently keeps track of the status of immigrants in the country, and they present their data in a quarterly publication that can be found on the web site of the agency. In its issue for March 2006, the CIC presents the most recent data and statistics on immigration in Canada.

Many carwash owners who have been hiring illegal aliens for years are now worried of the impending labor shortage as the illegal immigration dries up. This is not to say that all the illegal aliens will be going back to Mexico, but rather they will not be able to work in such businesses as car washes, which are out in the open and under the public eye and scrutiny of their communities.

9/11: The Psychological Fallout
There are not enough airplanes in the universe to blow up the entire United States. That was never anyone's intent. The goal of terror is to change the enemy through the psychology of threats and fear. Each new step we take to modify our lifestyles and our dreams, because of such attacks, moves us further away from the totally free society we built so long and so painfully, and closer to the cultural imprisonment our enemies seek to impose.

Twin Towers Lights Are Awesome To Behold
Obviously the Twin Towers Lights carry a message of wonderful tribute and a heart-warming message of encouragement and defiance. I remember Pearl Harbor when the sleeping giant USA was awakened. Likewise 9/11 re-awakened the sleeping giant. As Americans we rise to the challenge to: pray, work and support the God-given rights of people everywhere to live in freedom, or else. Terrorism can only live in darkness. Light destroys darkness. The awesome lights of the Twin Towers symbolize America's determination to destroy terrorism's darkness with light so people everywhere can live in peace and freedom.
