Member You - HTML Web Design For Friendly and Effective Websites
Your Organization Is Only as Good as Your People .Let’s begin by singing the jingle from an old US Army commercial. Ready? Sing! “Be all that you can be, in the Aaaaarmy.” Now, don’t you feel better?“Be all that you can be.” Why do you suppose the army selected this slogan? They selected it because there was a certain kind of volunteer that they wanted to attract, and that message would appeal to that group of people. They wanted to attract risk takers and adventurers. The purpose was to try and tap into the need that many people feel for adventure and growth. In more recent times the slogan has been changed to, “An army of one.” A slight Search Engines can't read Flash the same as they can't they read JavaScript, but many web designers keep Two Fish Tacos Por Favor At last we are seeing a navigation away from the dynamic or fancy type of website that has been inundating the Internet through virtually anyone who has had the funds to pay the sometimes ridiculous fees demanded to have a website designed and created. I'm speaking mainly, of course, about Flash, that wonderful web design program that makes it possible to have a website do virtually ANYTHING - except rank in the Search Engines. My internal instinct says: If you don't have money coming in—don't go splurging. Sounds rudimentary... wouldn't you agree? Well many of us independent business owners and freelancers have experienced what I call going on frugal phase. You live on the cheap. Some have even mentioned that they feel it's one of those oxymorons like "giant shrimp". I say you can get excellent help, if you know how.Yes, I'm a writer-but only part-time. A girl's gotta pay the bills and this freelance position isn't exactly up there in the pay scale, so I have to maintain a "day job" position and for the most part my job is customer service, so I know of whence I speak. To get someone to help you isn't really difficult or time-consuming, it's not ev Search Engines can't read Flash the same as they can't they read JavaScript, but many web designers keep What's The Frequency? ve a website designed and created. I'm speaking mainly, of course, about Flash, that wonderful web design program that makes it possible to have a website do virtually ANYTHING - except rank in the Search Engines. The more things change, some say, the more things stay the same. When it comes to marketing, I tend to agree. Consider the following list of how advertising frequency equates to advertising effectiveness. Thomas Smith wrote this in 1885:* The first time a man looks at an advertisement, he does not see it.* The second time, he does not notice it.* The third time, he is conscious of its existence.* The fourth time, he faintly remembers having seen it before.* The fifth time, he reads it.* The sixth time, he turns up his nose at it.* The seventh time, he re Search Engines can't read Flash the same as they can't they read JavaScript, but many web designers keep Banners You Can't Ignore program that makes it possible to have a website do virtually ANYTHING - except rank in the Search Engines. Some "experts" say they don’t exist. Apparently we have become so accustomed to seeing banners, we have learned to ignore them. We sub-consciously create little white blocks exactly 468x60 pixels in size that neatly fit over banners so that we no longer see them and NEVER click on them. Of course these same experts will then tell you what, of course, you SHOULD be using. Their product. Naturally some marketing techniques work better than others. But that doesn’t mean the less effective approaches should be ignored. Just as often we find that the action of yesterday is not producing the results we are looking for tomorrow.None the less, we keep plodding along hoping that by some miracle we will see a different result from the same action. The interesting thing to note is that the majority of time most people focus on the past or worry about the future. Few people ever spend time considering this moment.Start the search for change here Getting new results starts with awareness.
