Building Client Rapport by Spoiling Them
Massage Therapists are always looking for new ways to build their clientele. Finding unique ways to reach your existing clientele is what makes them remember you and tell others about you. Here are three easy, unique ways to build client relationships:1)Add comfort to your clients' visit:To enhance your clients' visit to your business, offer them a bag of herbal tea to take home afte

    Who Loves Statistics?
Statistics, the word almost makes me cringe as it is a reminder of all the hard work I had to do to finish my degree. I do not think that it is statistics per se but it is the fact that I had to create the numbers from formulas. In business, statistics are generated from asking the right questions and instead of doing all the calculations, the software takes over and you see the immediate results.Values have been described as personal--or organizational--North Stars. Having values means we have a constant fixture to guide us in the face of uncertainty. In the Northern Hemisphere, as long as you can see the North Star, you can navigate successfully, whatever the circumstances, and arrive at your intended destination. Similarly, the presence of corporate values enables employees to make good decisions if no leader or other source of guidance is available.

Our culture today often scoffs at the “antiquated” notion of values. On television and in print, we see daily examples of the degradation of fundamental values. Some in our society believe that having the basic freedoms we have means they can do whatever they want, whenever they want to. The Big Question - Why Don't Middle Managers Know How to Lead
This question appeared on a blog recently, and of course it caught my interest as it was framed in terms of Emotional Intelligence.I maintain the answer is quite simple: because no one ever taught them how. Now, let me say that I don’t know that middle managers don’t know how to lead. In fact I know many who DO know how to lead, and it is one of the most difficult jobs there is. But for those

7 Easy Ways You Can Use Powerful Words to SkyRocket Response And Profits From Your Ads
Have you ever seen an ad so compelling, that you soon found yourself glued to it? You just couldn't stop reading! Maybe you even took the plunge and bought the product advertised. Well, the good news is you can make your own ads much more “hypnothical” by simply adding some carefully chosen "powerful words" to your copywriting. There are some words that have been proven over time to increa

Outsource Network Monitoring Services To Save Working Capital
Vigilance is the watchword for monitoring security of the network services, as they are vulnerable to sudden attacks. Companies can set-up adequate services for detection and response but such an establishment often costs a bomb. Businesses, especially the small ones, may find it difficult to set up such services in the first place; regularly maintaining them can cause considerable headache, since it req

Yellow Page Ad Design: Got Price Shoppers?
Who in their right mind would court such a customer? But WAY too many advertisers claim to be the lowest price in town. (And remember, only one is telling the truth.) All the rest are just lying to make a sale. The thing is that customers can smell the desperation when you promise the lowest price. You employees are rarely happy to hand over bargain deal. And the look on your face as you write out the

Or Wall Street traders who are concerned less about shareholder value than about their own net worth. Even some church leaders have made news for adhering to a standard of self-preservation rather than the standard of a higher calling that embraces honor and respect.

In the business world, values also receive short shrift. Managers thrive on metrics and measurement. Theirs is a world of spreadsheets and cash flow projections. A boost in share price may be well worth cutting a few corners. When people do talk about values, perhaps in a strategic planning session, it’s a quick and perfunctory conversation, held to get the check mark for having talked about Values in order to move on to Action Plannin
