I actually quite like these online poker tools, they provide purely text advice based on what is going on in the game, and some of it can be quite sound advice too. This doesn't just go off pot odds, this software will also look at opponents bets and your relative position to advise you on all areas of your game. The reason I like this so much is that it helps beginners to understand why they should fold/bet/check etc rather than just telling them to do it.
