Marketing to Success on a ZERO Budget
TOP 10 TIPS TO GET YOU MARKETING TO SUCCESS ON ZERO DOLLARS!I come across so many people that absolutely freak out when they think about having to market their business. Heaps of questions come up like, ‘Where do I start?’, ‘I hate selling’, ‘How do I market my business when I don’t have any money?’….. Most of these people absolutely LOVE what t
Before you leave your office, there are key activities and distinctions you need to make in order for each event and interaction to be successful (whether you’re networking or just going to Starbucks to a mocha latt?).

First and foremost, your attitude must be fantastic! Engaging in any activity, be it networking or attempting relationship-building, is worthless to you unless you have a fabulous, “I’m-on-fire-and-the-best-person-you’ve-met-today” attitude!

Let me ask you this: would you buy from you? Why or why not? Would you do business with you? Why or why not? Chances are if the answer is “No” or “Maybe” to either of those, the reason behind it has everything to do with your attitude. Here’s how to create the attitude that ensures your success now: Step One: Each and every time someone asks “How are you?” answer with an empowering word that makes you feel good, such as: “Fantastic!” “Wonderful!” “Terrific!” “Doing great!” Or you could use my personal favorite: “If I were any better, I’d be twins!”

Don’t be surprised if the person you’re talking to gets a big grin on their face and wants to know more …

You can set yourself up for success by adding one or more of the following to your daily practices:

    • Write positive, present-tense affirmations and say one of them at least 400 times a day.

    • Associate with as many positive people as you can – create your “dream team” or “inner circle” – these are the people who will be your cheering section!

    • Educate to motivate - read 15-20 minutes per day from an uplifting book, and listen to motivational CDs in your car, while you’re working out, cleaning the house or doing mundane paperwork

Step Two: Get Back to Basics. What are the fundamentals of your business? Do them! They could be some, or all, of the following … plus a few more you add to the list: Create your compelling vision; set goals; get out and meet more people; make more calls; set more appointments, make more presentations or create opportunities.

Live congruently! Being congruent simply means that your outside matches your inside … that you’re living in integrity.

    For example:

    • If you’re an accountant, make sure your taxes are up to date and filed.

Maine's Economic Recovery; Market Sectors for Economic Growth
I would like to discuss the issues concerning Maine and it’s economy. For this most important discussion we are going to focus on jobs and money flow.
