    Public Relations
As public relations is an inexact science, it is difficult to document results. However, it is commonly known that editorial information has, by far, more credibility and impact than paid-for ads. Printed matter in a periodical implies that the periodical endorses the issue being referred to in the article.A public relations program consists of four components:1) A Press Kit - A kit must be supplied to the mediaa. Biography of the company, including objectives b. Biographies of key people, including pictures c. Product/Service information d. Copies of any articles, projects previously done. Call the local editors and hand-deliver the information. You want them to identify a f

DIY Holiday Makers - Why Putting Your Own Package Holiday Together May Not Be The Best Idea
Financial protection is normally of utmost importance for the British traveller, but many do not realise that if they book flights, accommodation and other parts of their trips independently, they are not automatically covered if things go wrong. In 2006 the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) conducted a poll of 5000 holiday makers and found that more than 90% are aware of the need for financial protection. These people are buying flights and accommodation separately. Most transactions are made over the internet and in the case of any failure in service they have no protection. The CAA estimates that more than 18,000,000 British travellers will be buying and arranging their holidays in this way over the summer of 2007.A third of the people who responded in the CAA survey incorrectly belie
A recent press report about a young, successful, well-educated young lawyer apparently taking his own life as a result of the stress he felt under due to work pressure really made me think. He was working for one of the leading, "Magic Circle" legal firms in London with a seemingly bright future. He was well paid, compared with normal salary ranges and had the potential for extremely high earnings in the future if he saw it through. Along with a select number of other industry sectors, especially in and around the City and Wall Street, there is a pervasive "macho" culture of long-hours and high workloads in these firms. Although there are a number of people who deny that this is the case, there are many more who talk about it! Indeed, there would seem to be many who thrive on this environment - but, at what cost to themselves and those around them? Certainly, some of the organisations I have worked with over the years do appear to value the individuals who are willing to sell themselves body and soul for the corporate pound (or dollar!) It was reported that he, and several colleagues, had spoken with senior partners at the firm about their concerns around workloads and long hours, so it was an issue for them. On the face of it, the people who apply to work in these organisations know what it will be like,
Poetry for a Prophetess from Jesus Christ in Prophecy
On my prophetic web-site a lady wrote for a personal prophecy and the Lord Jesus gave me a word and a few scriptures for her to consider. When she responded to what was written the Lord put it on my heart to bless her and seek Him for something more. What came out was poetry from Jesus to a girl with a big future for the Lord. Have you ever heard the Lord speak in free verse like a rap singer does? You might not be the recipient of this prophecy but it will bless your heart to hear how Jesus speaks in the modern day.Jesus says:I am the same Lord who parted the Red Sea, the Lord who appeared to Moses, the Lord who wrestled with Jacob and the same Lord that died on a cross. I am the Almighty God manifest in a man, a man that walked ,earth bled and died for mankind and rose on the third

What Type of Employee Benefits Should Your Business Offer?
Once an entrepreneur has grown from working in his basement or garage to having employees the question about benefits will ultimately rise. That leaves small business owners in cross roads between spending money on benefits and spending money on growth. Offering benefits may be a necessity if qualified talent is going to be retained. An informal study conducted among doctoral students at University of Phoenix found that there is an inverse relationship between perceptions of benefits and likelihood of leaving an organization. For example, when benefits are perceived to be high there is less likelihood that the doctoral candidates will leave their organization. When the benefits coverage is low there is a higher chance employees will leave.Doctoral students were asked to rank their bene

    Payday Cash Advance in Australia
Applying for payday cash advance in Australia has never been easier with the ease of Internet technology. Most lenders now provide online application forms that you can fill in from the comfort of your home. Payday cash loans are a short-term solution when you face unexpected financial emergency while you are short in cash. Real Estate Investing: Rehabs
For an experienced and clever investor, creative real estate investing is a technique that can bring in profits beyond our imagination. Many investors use rehabbing to build fortunes. These investors seek run down, neglected, ugly properties for very less, sometimes lot less than their market value because of their decrepit condition. They then fix the property keeping costs of repair as low as possible, repaint the property, giving them a face lift and manage to sell the property at an amazing price bringing them huge profits! How to Rehab a Property: This field of investing in real estate is good for experienced and knowledgeable investors not recommended for novices. The investor seeking to rehab a property should study the location as well as the structural design of the house, paying at

On the face of it, the people who apply to work in these organisations know what it will be like, or have at least some idea. They will probably also have the personality which fits with the driving, achievement-oriented culture - the classic "Type A"! The appeal of the potential earning power and lifestyle is seductive. However, there is a difference between what we imagine something to be and the reality when in a situation. For many this is where the problem with stress starts. This scenario is not just the province of the "Magic Circle" of law firms, it applies to many professions and industries. Maybe, not all have the promise of large six-figure salaries, but there is usually some perceived pot of gold at the end of their rainbow!

Without dwelling on the sad circumstances of the individual mentioned above, there is growing evidence that more people are feeling the pressure build-up in their jobs. The legal profession is one of those where this is the case. A helpline service set up specifically for lawyers (in Scotland), Lawcare, has reported an increase of 70% in calls over the last 2 years with around two thirds being for stress a
