The Federal Perkins Loan used to be known as National Direct Student Loans (NDSL). This loan is the regarded as the best of the federally subsidized loans, and is given to students who are in high financial need. They do this by interpreting the virgins as certain members of the congregation alone. I made the point that it was the ministry and not the congregation that The Lord Jesus Christ was warning through this parable and that is The Truth of it. At the same time I will confess to being somewhat economical with the truth in order to make the point. As it happens, this parable does eventually incorporate the churches as we move through it towards its conclusion. I have not done this to deceive anyone but rather to shift the emphasis away from the usual consensus of laying blame solely on certain members of church fellowships. By use of the term 'churches', I mean the real Church as opposed to the counterfeit church.
