However, thanks to NASA probes and studies of Mars, they are not laughing as hard as they used to. Scientists now tell us that they have found evidence of entrances to huge underground caves on Mars. They also say that huge blocks of ice and perhaps even water exist just under the Martian surface. In short, just about everything needed to build a self sustaining underground environment for humans already exists on Mars.
