To make sure we accurately understand what our mate is saying, we need to clarify and give feedback. Clarification can be as simple as saying, “Did I hear you say you there is a pig stuck in our chimney?”

A little feedback on my part would have saved me a lot of grief that day. Many misunderstandings like this one could be avoided
