This may come as a surprise... but the sale of bottled water has had a meteoric growth.

What happens to those plastic bottles?

Unfortunately, bottled water is being consumed...on the go. What happens when you finish your water...well first thought if there is no deposit on the container, out it goes in the trash!

Wrong move.

Lets stand back and take a longer look at this from a different perspective. Water is really not pushed commercially as the carbonated soft drinks are...and with low ad budgets, they are second only to the soft drink industry, and the beverages being consumed.

Without a deposit requirement a lot of the plastic bottles end up in landfill.

The general population seems to have become immune to keeping waste water bottles out of trash containers.

Want more bad news...people think because something is plastic, we can recycle it.

It's a real shame how the public puts it's own selfish needs in front of what we call common sense!
