As an employee your health is not worth risking for a job – Owners: feel free to miss lunch for the sake of another client it is your business you have the most invested but you should not expect any of your employee’s to do so. Every one should give their body fuel and water. Your body is your temple and should take care of it as much as you possible can. We are in a profession where we burn calories all day long because it is such a physical job and we are standing the majority of the day. So if you think a bagel and cream cheese will do you until the later part of the day you are wrong and I know many of us do this and have for years myself included but, trust me I am healthier and happier at work when I get to feed the body that makes me the money! And deal with situations when they arise to help relax the mind to help deal with others.
