Company Names - 1 Vital Question to Consider when Naming your Company
The naming of your business could be one of the most important decisions you will make. A name's originality and legal availability will create a real asset value of its own, as it becomes marketed and gains market acceptance. The name you choose will become the focal point of all the benefits and features that relate to your product or business. Customers will be able to find and refer others to it in the future. Establish

    Change Throwaways to Results Generators
Chachkas (sp)…Freebies…Giveaways. Through the years, promotional items have taken on many names…most not very complimentary. We’ve all been on the receiving end of promotional items, and typically our overall impression is synonymous with throw away, little or no value, worthless, not an essential business tool. If you’re on the giving end, certainly this is not the desired response. Time and money have been spent with the ulti
What are the differences between opportunity seekers and successful business people when it comes to building an online business? Let me use myself as an example. Ouch!

As a Web Marketing Newbie, I really had no plan outside of slapping up a website and selling all kinds of goodies and then watching the money roll in. But, I discovered the wonderful world of the Business in a Box, which countless Gurus were offering at a measly $40 to $50 bucks a month. All that I needed to do was send a few of my friends to sign up under me and help me to evangelize the greatest thing since the wheel.

Since these gurus made their fortunes using the same packages, how could I miss? They did all of the hard work, countless hours of trial and error, sweat and tears and money, but they're finally rich online money mavens. Now, they will share all of that knowledge with me, and all I have to do is do a little advertising and kick back. I thought that I found the Holy Grail of marketing online. No work involved. Sweet!

Point is, there was always a better Biz in a Box, especially when the first 5 or 6 prior didn't seem to be doing much but alienating my friends and family and draining my pocketbook on pay per clicks, ads and what not!

I'm not blaming the marketers that I bought into, after all, They developed their businesses, at least some of them, anyway, but the good ones will tell you that it wasn't easy. Opportunity seekers spend much of their time surfing, looking for the next Sure Thing Biz in a Box, without having a solid plan or goal to reach their impending riches.

An Entrepreneur on the other hand has sat down and researched his goal(s), much the same way successful business people in the offline industry succeed. They targeted a market, usually within their area of expertise, decided how to approach their markets, who they were marketing to and finally how they were going to monetize their market.

Plan it out. Don't spread yourself out all over the place. An example would be an affiliate program. Find a good and reputable company whose product sells well and sign up. Stay with it. Give it an honest effort.

After you affiliate with this company, How will you market it? Pay per click is great for quick hits, provided that you select the correct Targeted Keywords and have the funds to get through the learning curve at Adwords, Overture etc.

Plan and pick one thing at a time, get good at it and then, and only then start to expand. For instance, learn how to select great keywords, learn the basics. Learn how to develop a large, warm and willing email list. Learn how to write ad copy, or pay someone to do it for you. If you don't have a web site, have one in place before you start to sell. Or start with an affiliate ready made site. It's not difficult to do, especially with all of the point and click tools available.

Remember, first things first. Stay focused and master the fundamentals. Believe me, you don't have to make all of the mistakes that I did. Don't reinvent the wheel. Listen, read and learn from all of the truly helpful and honest people who have made it. You don't have to go it alone. Best of luck to all...
