Network Marketing - Its Three Deadly Sins And How To Find Salvation From Them
If you're a network marketer, there's a 95% probability that you've not yet achieved success in this industry. If, on the other hand, you're currently seeking a network marketing business opportunity, this is a statistical fact that is important for you to recognize. Even worse is the dismal fact that this is the approximate percentage of network marketers who will NEVER achieve success in this industry--UNLESS they become aware of what I will refer to here as its three "deadly sins" and find an effective way to avoid them. The purpose of this article is to help you to become aware of these pervasive pitfalls, how they lead most networkers inevitably to what I refer to, sardonically, as Network Marketing "hell," and--most important of all--to present an alternative approach that can quickly lead to salvation in what I think quite fittingly can be called a "Network Marketing Paradise."Unfortunately, nearly all network marketers are actively seduced into committing these "deadly sins" for the simple reason that--until very recently--they have provided the ONLY means for achieving success in the network marketing industry. All of them are based on the nearly universal and common-sensical premise in this industry that the ONLY way to succeed is to invest one's personal and financial resources directly, immediately, and one-pointedly into promoting and building one's primary business. As self-validating as this seems, the evidence is now overwhelming that this approach simply doesn't work well for the vast majority of people who enter this industry. The good news is that there is now a highly effective alternative way to "salvation" for at least a large percentage of those who have fallen into the morass of failure and disillusionment to which this prevailing approach often and unfortunately leads. The Three Deadly Sins of Network MarketingThe term, "sin," as used here has no moral implications of any kind; rather, it is used in its original sense as translated from the Greek word, hamartia, meaning "to miss the mark" or "to miss the target." Given this amoral definition, here's a list of the three "deadly sins" of traditional network marketing:1. Spending vast amounts of money, time, and energy in promoting one's business and/or products to prospects who are highly unqualfied. Typically, this starts with one's "warm market"--i.e., one's immediate circle of family and friends. Not uncommonly, in enthusiastically and aggressively trying to recruit these folks, neophyte network marketers often meet with much negativity and create considerable alienation. Not surprisingly, this is a common early source of major disappointment

    Developing and Marketing Niche Products
In today’s business world conventional and online business markets are so competitive that many business persons are turning their attention toward developing niche products where the competition from very large firms is not nearly as large. You can find ideas for niche products by going online and conducting a search on www.Google.com. You can conduct a search by finding the root word of the business that you want to search for (in this example we will use “1970’s eclectic fashions”). Type the word followed by the word “articles” in the search box (“eclectic fashions articles”). By combing through the directories that you will see listed you can find articles and information on eclectic fashions. They are websites that you can use to gain information on the business that you are trying to start, like, www.MyGoals.com and www.ehow.com.After you find your niche you should conduct market research to find out who is in the market to purchase these products. After you gain this information you can expand your product line horizontally. You should not rely on that one product to carry your business. For example let’s use the 1970’s eclectic fashions niche. If you were to start and online store selling these eclectic fashion clothing you could add accessories to your product line like jewelry, hats, shoes, or other related products that would compliment the clothes that you are selling. Now that you have expanded your product horizontally you should now look to expand vertically. This is done by taking one of the related products and making it a niche product itself. An example of this would be taking your jewelry line and selling it as the niche product with the other products that you are selling complimenting your jewelry line. The jewelry line would now have related products to expand its market base. This will give you the ability to sell your entire line with a great amount of diversity. Now that you have created these products and determined who is your target market it is time to market them. You should create a website with an online store showing all the products that you have to offer. The related products and accessories that you have gives you the option of packaging products together for special promotional sales which will allow you to offer more options to your prospects. These special promotions should be developed with the needs and wants of your target market.Your website should offer your prospects information on the products that you are selling. You should provide links to related websites of the same era, for example, books, music, antiques, and other related products of the era. You should provide articles on the period, and point your prospects to where they can find more articles, information, and where they
    I. Purpose and Application of OSHA

    1. History and Applicability of OSHA

The Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970 (“OSH Act”) was signed into law December 29, 1970. The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (“OSHA”) began operations on April 28, 1971. OSHA’s first standards were promulgated May 29, 1971. The OSH Act was passed to assure, so far as possible, every working man and woman in the nation safe and healthful working conditions and to preserve our human resources. See 19 U.S.C. § 651, also known as the General Duty Clause.

The OSH Act applies to all employers and their employees in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and all other territories under federal government jurisdiction. Under the OSH Act, an “employer” means a person engaged in a business affecting commerce who has employees, but does not include the United States (not including the United States Postal Service) or any state or political subdivision of a state. 29 U.S.C. § 652(5).

OSHA regulations apply either directly through the federal OSHA program or through a federally approved OSHA state program. Any state may submit a state OSHA plan, which the federal Secretary of Labor shall approve if it is at least as effective as the OSH Act. 29 U.S.C. § 667. The following twenty-six states and territories currently have OSHA-approved safety and health plans: Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Virgin Island

You Really Can Make It Online!
Having been involved in Learning and Development for more years than I care to think I am always encouraging people to reflect on their learning! So I thought I ought to do some myself and I wanted to share my thoughts with you through this article. When I first started looking at how to make money through the internet I read what felt like thousands upon thousands of websites. I am sure that I have not been alone in doing that and to a great extent ending up feeling totally overwhelmed by the plethora of “opportunities” which appeared to exist. But how was I to distinguish the “bad” from the “good” when it was all so new to me. Like you I read those pages that promised me that I would be earning ?'000's by the time I came back to my computer from the bathroom! Here is probably the most important lesson I learnt very early on and that was to heed those wise words "if it looks too good to be true, then it is!” Like so many people I have read so much but instead of remaining overwhelmed by it I decided to rely on my gut instincts and those experiences I have had both in the real world and in running a very successful Genealogy membership website. I started to filter what I was reading into something that resonated with me and made sense in the light of my experiences in other areas.I have made some mistakes and I am sure that we will continue to make them. I am sure that there are things that we are doing wrong but we are trying to learn and put them right as we go.So far I would summarise what I have learnt as:1. You are not going to get rich overnight or even in months - it is going to take time and dedication and hard work ( despite all those people who try and tell us you only have to work for 30 minutes a day!)2. You need to want to succeed and you need to have a clear picture of what success will look like for you . Here I drew on the experiences I have had when working for hours with Senior Management Teams Vision Planning! You must be able to picture what success will look like for you. As someone once said if you cannot tell me the colour of the Front Door of the house you will own when you are successful then you have not yet truly refined your Vision!3. You need to have a clear focus on your markets and know what you want to sell - hopping from one thing to the next in the hope that "it" will be the thing that works is not the way!4. You need to be big enough to say "I got that wrong - help!" and wise enough to truly listen to the advise you get.5. You need to be your own "Guru" and by that I mean that you need to do what you do because it is the right thing for you.You can be successful online and make money. The power to do it lies in your hands and in your will to succeed!

    Using PHP Buttons In Dreamweaver
I'll admit that I am not a coder and I don't know much more than a tiny bit of PHP at the time of writing this. However, I have managed to create database driven webpages, and even password protected members only areas due to the extremely easy to use PHP buttons in Dreamweaver. If you are interested in learning to do this for yourself, this lesson will point you in the right direction so that you can experiment and see for yourself how easy it is. The first thing you need to do is to create an SQL database on your webhost. This can be done via CPanel or if not that, then ask your host how...anyways, creating an SQL database with 1 table is not hard. The key is, to create it, record the information and then try to log in to that database via Dreamweaver. You can do this by creating a new database connection in the 'Application' window of Dreamweaver. This is one of the most challenging parts, and you'll need to set up the site's testing server. At first this can be tricky, but if you stick with it and get connected to your SQL databas via Dreamweaver, you'll soon find ways to insert records, display records, and much more! You see, once you are connected to the database, the table names will dynamically show up in Dreamweaver, and from there it is only a short step to learn how to insert records, repeat records, and display data in the database. Of course reading a book can help you with PHP, but it is also fun to just jump right in the Dreamweaver buttons. Even a total PHP dunce like myself was able to start creating little PHP/SQL applications once I figured out these basic steps. So if you want to create PHP applications, but don't know how to hand-code PHP, create a PHP/SQL database with 1 table, figure out how to connect to it via Dreamweaver, and start messing around with the Dreamweaver PHP buttons. In a few hours time you'll see what creating PHP/SQL applications in Dreamweaver is all about.

    Medical Billing Careers
There are a number of fields in medical career where one can specialize: Master of Healthcare Administration, RN to BS in Nursing, BS in Health Administration, Doctor of Health Administration, MS in Nursing / MBA / Health Care Management, Healthcare Management, Medical Office Billing and Coding Specialist, Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assisting, and Medical Insurance Billing/Coding.One of the most important careers is medical billing. Medical billing requires a lot of hard work and a broad knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, proper form completion, and required coding. Not only this, a biller has to have the knowledge for basic computer information and should have a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.A good temperament is another important thing that a medical biller ought to have. He is supposed to interact not only with the patients and their relatives, but also with their colleagues, doctors, medical representatives, medical professionals and other office personnel. For the billers, the basics of customer service are quite important. However, medical billing and its related occupations are one of the fastest-growing fields in health care. Insurance companies and the government are investing a lot of time and money in order to catch fraud, abusive practices, and medical necessity issues. Therefore, the importance of the medical billers and coders is on the rise.It is not always the case that a medical biller has to wait for a company to hire him. A medical biller is also able to work independently out of his home. This can be achieved if a biller sets up an electronic billing system through his home computer(s). Specialization in insurance billing is another field that can prove to be lucrative for billers. This is a position of self-employment through which a biller can render great assistance to the patients, and understand their insurance bills and what they should be paying.

    Don't Forget your Existing Clients
Quest for new clients shouldn’t ignore those who pay the billsAcquisition. It’s a big word in small business marketing. Companies are constantly looking at ways to draw new people to the business and generate new streams of revenue. In this quest, some small businesses make the mistake of focusing too much on new customer acquisition, only to find that their existing customers have been lured away by a competitor.Ironic, isn’t it? The very tactics you use to drive new customers to your business are the same ones that your competitors can use to take them away from you. Losing sight of your existing customer base is truly an example of not seeing the forest for the trees. Did you know that on average, it costs a small business 10 times as much to attract a new client as it does to retain an existing one? Think about that the next time you are planning an acquisition marketing campaign, then use these three tips to ensure that your customers don’t fall prey to your competitor’s acquisition efforts:Coffee Anyone?: One of the simplest and most cost effective retention initiatives I’ve seen involved sending your customers a brief letter and tossing in a gift certificate for a free coffee at a local coffee shop (if you’re a local business), or a national coffee chain (if you operate in a broader area.) It will only cost you about one dollar for each of your customers plus mailing costs, and you’ll accomplish two things. Firstly, they’ll be reminded of your company name and services thanks to your brief letter, and secondly, they’ll enjoy a hot cup of coffee and feel good about you gesture. That free coffee can go a long way towards client retention.Get Them a Deal: Who are your customers? Are they small businesspeople operating in your area? Are they pet owners? Are they car lovers? The product you sell will dictate what your clients are interested in. (For example if you sell a new type of car wax, you can be fairly certain that 99% of your clients are car buffs). If you have even a few dozen clients, you could approach another local business that sells a car related product (let’s say a new tire polish) and offer them a deal. You’ll send a letter to all of your customers and offer them a great deal on the tire polish of 40% off the retail price. The company you approach should be willing to do this, as they have the potential to make a number of sales at one time, and your customers receive something of value from you, making them remember your company name and feel good about your offer.Take it one step further and reciprocate the offer. The tire polish company can tell all of their clients about your car wax, and you’ll offer them a 40% as well since you now have the chance to sell some of your product. Client loyalty and

Most states have adopted plans that are identical to the federal standards and have procedures similar to the federal system. However, there are some differences between the federal system and OSHA-approved states plans. This paper focuses on federal standards and regulations. If you practice in a state with an OSHA-approved plan, you should be cognizant that your state may have slightly different standards and regulations than those discussed in this paper.

    2. Who is the Employer? The Issue of Multi-Employer Work Sites

Construction sites often involve multiple employers working alongside or with one another. The prospect thus exists for an employer’s violation of an OSHA standard to cause injury to another company’s employee working at the same job site. OSHA may penalize an employer for exposing another company’s employee to a hazard. See Brennan v. OSHRC, 513 F.2d 1032 (2nd Cir. 1975). In Brennan, OSHA penalized a subcontractor at a construction site for violating OSHA regulations by leaving construction materials near the edge of an elevated, open-sided floor, above workers employed by other subcontractors. On appeal from the citation, the United States Occupational Safety & Health Review Commission (“OSHRC”) found no violation
